Heres the list I use and why:


MPlayer - Plays mkv/videos encoded in h264 codec fast, videos run on a 650mhz computer great. It optimizes itself for different processors.

The Core Pocket Media Player - Fastest video player ive seen so far, a regular 640x480 video uses about 400mhz. ALso available for Palm and Pocket Computers.

VLC Media Player - Best compatible/fast video player. Avaiable for Windows, Mac and Linux.
